Bob and Erin met in the Covered Bridge Store in 1987, danced like crazy at the “Boselli of Vail” Christmas Party, and married in 1991. Combining O’Neil and Boselli, they created O’Bos Enterprises in 1992.
Uncle Tom, Bob’s older brother, offered to sell 3 stores in Breckenridge and another 3 stores in Aspen. In 1999, Bob and Erin came over to help Tom run the Vail/BC stores during the 1999 Alpine World Ski Championships, at the end of the season they purchased the rest of Boselli of Vail’s Beaver Creek and Vail stores.
O’Bos headquarters moved to Edwards in 1999 and fluctuated between 10-13 stores in Vail, Beaver Creek, Aspen and Snowmass. We employ 35-120 employees depending on the season and are very active in our communities. Our stores cater to our guests that visit our beautiful Colorado resorts and want to take home a memory of their experience!
We offer the best in design, variety and quality in clothing and gifts for the whole family. We ventured into our Generation Kid’s ski stores in 2005, which carry children’s ski clothing and anything SKI, resort name dropped apparel, and the best toy sections around! The Generation stores are fun, bright-colored concepts with kids in mind… with a table to color on and a TV to watch your favorite kids movie while parents shop!
In 2015 O’Bos became the official merchandiser of the Alpine World Ski Championships, which brought 700 athletes from 70 countries around the world to our Vail Valley! The event spanned two weeks and hosted people from all over the world… similar to the Olympics in size for alpine skiing! We partnered with Vail Valley Foundation to provide the best merchandise possible for the event and enjoyed the craziness that the Championships brought to our Colorado Mountains.
